While we are on the subject of viruses at Simple IT Support I thought readers may be interested in this artical on Slashdot news that talks about Grayware. Grayware is software that in inbetween Malware and usefull applications. I think all these names for programs that dont quite do what the user inteded them for is going a little mad lol.

Firefox in final beta

It’s a great day for all internet users as the last Firefox beta roles off the development line. Firefox is a ver. popular web browser that can be downloaded and installed for free. It is one of the first browsers to provide tabbed browsing as well as a great plug-in system that can allow users to customize the browsing experience with little limitations. The code will also go through what is known as a code freeze on the 8^th of April ready for release candidate 1.

You may be wondering what all of this means? Well basically the next version of Firefox could be with us as soon as June. Won’t that be nice? If you haven’t had the opportunity to use Firefox I would recommend downloading version 2 here and giving it a god. Just like me you may find you never need another type of browser.
